STEVENS POINT, Wis., Sept. 13 -- The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point issued the following news release:
The UW-Stevens Point football team wasted no time in shaking off last week's slow offensive start on Saturday, as they racked up 329 yards of total offense, defeating Iowa Wesleyan 45-7 in a rain-soaked affair at Community Stadium at Goerke Park.
The Pointers got on the board early, taking the opening kickoff and driving down the field in a six play, 62 . . .
