STEVENS POINT, Wis., Nov. 1 -- The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point issued the following news release:
After an emotional win over the defending national champion UW-Whitewater Warhawks, the Pointers came out ahead in another exciting finish as they defeated the Titans of UW-Oshkosh 34-33 in overtime at Community Stadium in Stevens Point Saturday afternoon.
