FORT RILEY, Kan., Sept. 8 -- Fort Riley issued the following news release:
Media are invited to learn first-hand from brigade leadership about the upcoming mission of the 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division. The brigade will deploy in October for a 12-month tour in Iraq.
On Sept. 12, senior "Dagger" Brigade leadership will brief members of the press on the brigade's training methods, mission, operational environment and task organizat . . .
