ERIE, Pa., Aug. 14 -- Pennsylvania State University-Erie-Behrend College issued the following news release:
Spearheaded by Pennsylvania Sea Grant, seven Erie area marinas participated in the first-ever collaborative shrink-wrap recycling program this spring. In a matter of weeks, local marinas prevented 25,000 pounds of boat shrink-wrap from polluting Lake Erie and the local environment.
