ANN ARBOR, Mich., Oct. 30 -- The city of Ann Arbor issued the following news release:
The Natural Area Preservation unit of the City of Ann Arbor will conduct a prescribed burn today, Thursday, Oct. 30 in Barton Nature Area, located on Huron River Drive at Bird Road in Ann Arbor. Prescribed burns are used to enhance the ecology of a site by controlling invasive plants. The fire is conducted by trained personnel and will be under control at all times.
