ATLANTA, Oct. 31 -- Gov. Sonny Perdue, R-Ga., issued the following press release:

Today Governor Perdue and First Lady Mary Perdue planted an Athena Elm on the grounds at the Governor's Mansion, replacing a tree previously destroyed by thunderstorms earlier this year.
