STEVENS POINT, Wis., Jan. 19 -- The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point issued the following news release:
After leading by five at halftime, the 11th-ranked UW-Stevens Point men's basketball team pulled away in the second half to defeat UW-Superior by a final score of 78-57 on Alumni Day in Quandt Fieldhouse.
The Pointers have now won four straight games and have an overall record of 13-3 and a Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) record of 5 . . .
