TRENTON, N.J., Sept. 29 -- The New Jersey Assembly's Democrats issued the following news release:
Assemblymen Matt Milam and Nelson Albano formally introduced legislation Thursday that would toughen the financial penalties against illegal ocean dumping and strip licenses from medical professionals who dump waste offshore.
Senator Jeff Van Drew said he would introduce the bills in the Senate when that chamber returns for official business on Oct. 2.
