BATON ROUGE, La., Oct. 29 -- The Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality issued the following news release:
Five recipients were honored for their environmental efforts regarding the Gulf of Mexico with Gulf Guardian awards. The event marked the 20th anniversary of the Gulf of Mexico Program and took place on Oct. 29 at the Hilton Riverside hotel in New Orleans.
