WASHINGTON, Oct. 30 -- The National Republican Congressional Committee issued the following news release:
In last night's debate for the congressional seat in Pennsylvania's 11th District, Paul Kanjorski recklessly voiced his support for reinstating a military draft:
"We should look at the necessity of having a draft if we're going to pursue this course of allowing a president to continue to carry out long-drawn wars that no longer are justified . . .
