MACOMB, Ill., Oct. 18 -- Western Illinois University issued the following news release:
Herb Donaldson rushed for 137 yards on 20 first-half carries to surpass the 1,000-yard mark this season and lift No. 15 Western Illinois to a 56-0 Homecoming victory over Indiana State, the Leathernecks' largest conference win in school history.
The nation's second-leading rusher reached 1,000 yards on his final first-quarter carry to become the only player in Missouri . . .
