MACOMB, Ill., March 19 -- Western Illinois University issued the following news release:
The Western Illinois baseball team heads to West Lafayette, Indiana, for a matchup with Big Ten member Purdue this weekend.
Last season the Leathernecks won the opener of a three-game series in Macomb, but fell to the Boliermakers in the final two contests. Last season was the first games played between the two schools.
