MACOMB, Ill., Jan. 8 -- Western Illinois University issued the following news release:
Two of the Summit League's three newcomers will visit Macomb this week as Western Illinois, coming off a road win at UMKC, hosts South Dakota State, Thursday, and North Dakota State, Saturday. The Leathernecks' only meeting with SDSU occurred nearly 60 years ago - a 64-41 win at home during the 1948-49 season. Western Illinois and NDSU have never faced each other.
