KANSAS CITY, Mo., Jan. 5 -- Western Illinois University issued the following news release:
Five players scored in double-figures, including David Jackson and David DuBois who both had double-doubles, to help Western Illinois defeat UMKC, 69-62, and snap a 16-game losing streak to the Kangaroos.
The Leathernecks (6-8, 1-2 Summit League) trailed only twice, both times in the first five minutes, on their way to splitting their first Summit League road series of the sea . . .
