CHARLESTON, S.C., Oct. 27 -- The Citadel issued the following press release:
The Citadel's silent drill platoon, the Summerall Guards, will march in the downtown Columbia Veterans Day parade at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11.
The Summerall Guards exemplify the skill and precision of military education. Its 61 members and two alternates are seniors who have earned a place on the platoon through rigid competition each spring. Guard members are selected for their physic . . .
