WINCHESTER, Ky., Oct. 29 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's U.S. Forest Service unit - Daniel Boone National Forest - issued the following news release:
In honor of Veterans Day, the Daniel Boone National Forest is waiving recreational fees at several locations for veterans and members of the U.S. armed forces and their families on November 11. No documentation or proof of military service is required.
