JOHNSON CITY, Tenn., Nov. 8 -- East Tennessee State University issued the following news release:
Dr. Ken Silver, assistant professor of Environmental Health in East Tennessee State University's College of Public Health, recently testified during a hearing before the U.S. Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee on the need to improve the procedure through which compensation claims are processed for workers made ill during their service in the Cold War.
