JACKSON, Miss., Jan. 31 -- Texas A&M University at Prairie View issued the following news release:

For the third time in school history and first time since 1998 the Prairie View A&M University bowling team (16-8, 8-4 SWAC) has advanced to the Southwestern Athletic Conference Championships.

After defeating Alabama A&M and Southern University at the SWAC Round-Up in Jackson, Miss. the Lady Panthers are looking to have an impact at the championship meet.
