WASHINGTON, April 15 -- The American Society of International Law issued the following news release:
The American Society of International Law (ASIL) announces that on April 10, 2008, Lucy Reed, a partner at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, in New York, became the Society's 43rd president. Ms Reed is a specialist in international commercial arbitration, particularly in investment treaty disputes. She will serve in her new ASIL capacity for a two-year term.
