BETTENDORF, Iowa, July 2 -- The city of Bettendorf issued the following news release:
A six inch natural gas pipeline was broken at 8:34 a.m. this morning at Field Sike Drive and Devils Glen Road during reconstruction of Field Sike Drive by Valley Construction. MidAmerican Energy was on scene.
Residents of Field Sike Drive were evacuated from their homes.
