WILLMAR, Minn., Oct. 26 -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation issued the following news release:
For years, you've seen them out there in little orange vests picking up litter in ditches along Minnesota highways. These are the volunteers in the Minnesota Department of Transportation's Adopt-a-Highway program who give of their time and energy to help keep the state beautiful.
