WASHINGTON, July 2 -- The American Public Power Association issued the following news release:

Given the prospect of higher energy costs, greater focus on climate change and energy efficiency issues, and an aging and retiring workforce, the American Public Power Association (APPA) is launching two new initiatives and Web sites to help its member utilities tackle these challenges.
