BROWNSVILLE, Texas, July 3 -- The University of Texas System Brownsville issued the following news release:
Twenty years ago, the trustees of Texas Southmost College asked voters of the taxing district to support a $13.5 million bond issue - a first in the history of the then 59 -year-old college.
