Waukon High School Gets An A+ For Its Focus On 'Green' Building

WAUKON, Iowa, Sept. 30 -- Alliant Energy issued the following news release:
When Allamakee Community Schools made the decision to add onto its existing high school, Alliant Energy was invited into the design process to help evaluate how energy efficiency could be optimized within the building. To reward the energy savings that resulted, Alliant Energy will present Waukon High School with an incentive check for $57,717 on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.
