JUNEAU, Alaska, Feb. 20 -- An organization representing Republican members of the Alaska state legislature issued the following news release:
A bill recently introduced by Rep. Gabrielle LeDoux, R-Kodiak, would provide a 50 percent energy subsidy for public schools. HB 386 would authorize a subsidy to be paid in addition to the state funding provided under the K-12 school foundation formula. For the purposes of an initial program, the subsidy would be limited to the fiscal years 2 . . .
