WASHINGTON, July 1 -- The U.S. Department of Defense's Central Command issued the following newsletter:
Afghan National Security Forces and Coalition forces' medical personnel, under the Medical Civil Action Program, provided humanitarian assistance in Nahr Surkh District, Helmand province.
A large number of humanitarian assistance supplies were handed out including 245 medical, dental and hygiene kits; 176 sets of clothing and shoes, 135 bags of food, 26 . . .
