WASHINGTON, July 24 -- Rep. Michael R. Turner, R-Ohio (3rd CD), issued the following news release:
Congressman Michael R. Turner (OH-03) will visit Guantanamo Bay today as part of a CODEL that will tour the military base and detention facility. While at Guantanamo, Congressman Turner will visit with Army Col. Bruce Vargo, who is Commander of the Joint Detention Group at Guantanamo Bay. Col. Vargo is a native of Huber Heights, Ohio and the son of longtime Huber Heights Councilwoman . . .
