Playing in one the toughest conferences in the nation presents an outstanding challenge for the Viking ice hockey program.
Veteran head coach Bill O'Neill has gone on record many times stating, "There's never a night off when we take on an ECAC East or NESCAC opponent. It's always a dog fight."
