CHARLESTON, S.C., July 29 -- The Citadel issued the following press release:
The Citadel has a new campus chief of police, and three other Public Safety officers have been promoted.
William A. "Bill" Fletcher Jr., deputy director of Citadel Public Safety since 2000, replaces Mike Bingham, who retired in February after 14 years in the department.
Fletcher directs all law enforcement and security operations, including special investigations . . .
