CHARLESTON, S.C., Aug. 14 -- The Citadel issued the following press release:
The journey toward principled leadership will begin on Saturday, Aug. 16 for the more than 700 freshmen who are expected to report for military training and academic orientation.
The Class of 2012 is poised to be the largest freshmen class in 30 years at The Citadel. Lt. Col. John Powell, '77, director of admissions, said it's expected to be one of the strongest classes academica . . .
