CHARLESTON, S.C., Aug. 19 -- The Citadel issued the following press release:
With 711 reporting, the Class of 2012 is the largest freshman class to report to The Citadel in 32 years. Freshmen reported for academic orientation and military training on Aug. 16, 2008.
