BOSTON, Aug. 14 -- The Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency issued the following news release:
An Army veteran of three tours of duty in Iraq is the first to receive a loan through MassHousing's "A Home for the Brave" mortgage program, allowing his family to purchase their first home.
Sgt. Joshua Brett and his wife, Tracy, closed their loan through First Federal Credit Union in New Bedford for a new home in East Freetown less than a month after Gov. D . . .
