ATLANTA, Aug. 30 -- Emory University issued the following news release:
Emory University's Patrick Carver became just the seventh player in the history of the Men's Soccer program to score 100-career points, as the senior netted a hat trick during the Eagles' 8-0 season-opening win over Guilford College (N.C.) at the Sonny Carter Invitational.
Carver scored each of his three goals in the first 30 minutes of the game, including the eventual game winner . . .
