BAGHDAD, Iraq, Oct. 3 -- The U.S. Army 1st Armored Division issued the following news release:
Coalition forces captured one wanted man and detained 17 additional suspects during operations to degrade the al-Qaeda in Iraq terrorist network throughout the country Thursday and Friday.
Operations in Kirkuk Thursday netted four suspects believed to be associated with a regional AQI "emir."
An operation in the vicinity of Bayji, about 160 km sout . . .
