ATLANTA, April 15 -- Emory University issued the following news release:
Emory University freshman Matt Ryckman pitched six innings of one-hit shutout baseball, and the Eagles offense amassed 12 runs on 17 hits, as 18th-ranked Emory defeated Huntingdon College (Ala.) 12-0 at Chappell Park on Tuesday.
Emory pitching held the Hawks to just four hits on the day. Ryckman, who improved to 5-1 with a 2.55 earned run average this season, spread six walks and a hit over six . . .
