ADELPHI, Md., Aug. 1 -- The U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command issued the following magazine article:

Researchers at the Army Research Laboratory have made a significant breakthrough in the physics of imaging that may lead to improved imaging capabilities for military and domestic uses.

ARL is a subordinate element of the U.S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, headquartered at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland.
