MOSUL, Iraq, Oct. 9 -- The U.S. Army 1st Armored Division issued the following news release:
Soldiers with the 3rd Battalion, 5th Brigade, 2nd Iraqi Army Division delivered school supplies to children in two primary schools, Sharif and Somer, in the southeastern region of Mosul, Iraq, Oct. 9.
The school supplies were donated by nongovernmental organizations.
