WASHINGTON, Aug. 1 -- The U.S. Department of Defense's Central Command issued the following newsletter:
U.S.forces here will now utilize commercial Afghan banking services, which will bolster Afghanistan's blossoming economy by putting approximately $100 million worth of monthly-business transactions into private bank's hands.
