WASHINGTON, Oct. 14 -- The House Veterans' Affairs Committee issued the following news release:
Bob Filner, Chairman of the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs, announced that the Purple Heart will be presented posthumously to all prisoners of war who die in captivity.
