HONOLULU, Oct. 17 -- The Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources issued the following news release:
The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) announces the opening of the 2008-2009 game bird hunting season on Saturday, November 1, 2008.
Department biologists are predicting an average to below average season of bird hunting with ongoing dry conditions in many parts of the state.
