SALEM, Mass., Sept. 2 -- Salem State College issued the following press release:
Despite beginning the 2007 season with just one win over its first six matches, the Lady Vikings kept their composure and came together in a big way, winning nine of their final twelve regular season matches en route to playing in the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) postseason tournament championship match for the third time in five years.
