ABERDEEN, Md., Oct. 16 -- Aberdeen Proving Ground released the following issue of APG News:
The U.S. Army Combat Readiness/ Safety Center has developed a Range & Weapons Safety Toolbox to help commanders and leaders prevent weapons handling accidents on military ranges.
From fiscal year 2000 through the first quarter of FY 2008, 62 Class A through C weapons-handling accidents occurred on military ranges.
