MONTGOMERY, Ala., Sept. 3 -- The Alabama Department of Homeland Security issued the following news release:
With September designated as National Preparedness Month, the State of Alabama is holding several events to promote citizen disaster preparedness. The statewide disaster preparedness campaign is "Be Ready Alabama," and these events will teach Alabamians how to be properly prepared for any type of disaster.
