RICHMOND, Va., Sept. 29 -- The Virginia Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services issued the following news release:
The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) has confirmed the first case of Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE) in a horse this year. The 15-month old male pony was from Virginia Beach and was unvaccinated for EEE.
