WASHINGTON, July 2 -- The National Restaurant Association issued the following news release:
The agenda for the first of its kind, inter-industry Import Safety Summit, co-sponsored by the National Restaurant Association, will bring together leaders from a cross-section of industries and U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Michael Leavitt to exchange best practices and discuss how to strengthen public-private partnerships that will enhance the safety of imported products.
