OKANOGAN, Wash., Sept. 11 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's U.S. Forest Service unit - Okanogan National Forest - issued the following press release:

Fall burning conditions are being evaluated by the Tonasket Ranger District. Specialist are monitoring fuel moisture of accumulated forest debris and assessing weather conditions favorable for burning. This season, prescribed burning is being considered in the Mt.
