HONOLULU, Sept. 4 -- The Hawaii Department of Health issued the following news release:
The Hawai'i State Department of Health (DOH) cautions the general public against purchasing food from roadside vendors who have no food permits. There are potential food safety concerns regarding unlicensed mobile or temporary businesses. Legal vendors, who are able to show their permits upon request or have them posted in their vehicle are required to comply with safe food handling and prepara . . .
