BAGRAM AIR FIELD, Afghanistan, Sept. 5 -- The U.S. Department of Defense's Combat Joint Task Force 82, Operation Enduring Freedom, issued the following news release:
Afghan National Security Forces and Coalition forces assisted local villagers with the construction of a new bridge in Shaheed Hasas District, Oruzgan province September 1.
The old footbridge provided limited access to a nearby village for only 60 isolated households.
