U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, today presented a long overdue Purple Heart to Corporal Samuel A. Dunlap II for his courageous service during the Korean War. Dunlap, who was critically wounded while fighting north of Chun Chon, North Korea in 1952, was awarded the Purple Heart but never physically received the medal, as its records were destr . . .
