SALEM, Ore., Sept. 3 -- The Oregon Department of Human Services issued the following news release:

What: Task Force for a Comprehensive Obesity Prevention Initiative.

When: Sept. 8, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Portland State Office Building, 800 NE Oregon St., Room 1D, Portland, Or. 97232.

Agenda: Discuss guiding principles and review statutory, funding and partnership recommendations. Public testimony will be from 1:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
